Authorities reported that the collision transpired around 4:16 p.m. on the northbound side of Bradley Road, just south of Dusty Lane.

Reports confirmed that a 22-year-old driver was traveling north in his 1996 Jeep Cherokee when he collided with a 30-year-old Oxnard man who was strolling on the road.

Paramedics responded to the scene and airlifted the victim to Los Robles Regional Health Center after incurring severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the police, the victim attended a party at a ranch before the collision.

Considering that the victim was walking inside traffic lanes at the time, alcohol intake was likely the cause of the crash.

Meanwhile, the Jeep’s driver was evaluated and was found to be free of drugs and alcohol.
