A 29-year-old man identified as Kenneth M and a 9-year-old girl was injured after a motorcycle crash near Little Deer Drive on Sunday afternoon, December 12, 2021.

A southbound vehicle was traveling on Highway 49 when it crashed into a motorcycle attempting to make a U-turn on the highway.

The motorcycle rider was seriously injured in the crash. He lost his left leg due to the severity of the impact. Meanwhile, his 9-year-old passenger sustained a broken ankle.

After the collision, the vehicle that struck the motorcycle rider acquired major front-end damage. It’s unclear what caused the accident to occur.
