A big rig driver was transported to the hospital after a fiery crash involving another vehicle on the northbound 605 Freeway at the eastbound 60 Freeway in the City of Industry early Thursday morning, December 12, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m.

The collision resulted in a fire explosion at the scene, prompting emergency crews to extinguish the flames. Fuel from the vehicles spilled onto the roadway, exacerbating the situation.

The big rig driver was transported to a hospital for treatment, though their condition remains unknown.
