[12-13-2022] Placer County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Car Crash in Roseville

Authorities said a pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a car in Roseville on Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Sunrise Boulevard, just north of Twin Oaks Avenue.

An Uber driver was in the middle of a trip offering someone a ride when it struck the victim, who was reportedly not walking in a marked crosswalk.

The CHP stated that the pedestrian walked in front of the vehicle and was declared dead at the site.

The driver stopped at the scene and helped the officers in their investigation.
