[12-14-2022] Multi-Vehicle Collision in El Sobrante Injures One DriverAuthorities reported that a person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in El Sobrante, Contra Costa County, on Wednesday afternoon, December 14, 2022.

According to the Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the firefighters union representative, the three-car crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on San Pablo Dam Road near the Tri Lane and Lakeridge Athletic Club.

The responders arrived at the scene and found the first car slammed against an embankment, the second car rolled over and on its roof, and the third car on fire.

As they rapidly put out the fire, crews checked on all the patients and one reportedly sustained moderate injuries. No details on the other drivers were released.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the collision as the investigation by the authorities continued.
