[12-14-2022] Imperial County, CA – Solo Car Crash on SR 111 Injures Driver and Passenger

Authorities said two people were injured and hospitalized in a solo car crash in Imperial County on Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:50 a.m. along State Route 111 south of Aten Road.

The report from CHP revealed that the car landed on its roof, leaning against a power pole after it veered off the road and rolled over.

The vehicle had two occupants, the driver, and its passenger, who were both injured and taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center. No details on their identities and current condition were released.

The cause of the crash remains unknown as the investigation by the authorities continues.
