One unidentified person was seriously hurt following a motorcycle collision at an intersection in Santa Barbara on Wednesday morning, December 15, 2021.

A black BMW collided with a motorcyclist at the intersection for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been established.

The motorcycle rider was seriously injured in the crash. He was immediately taken to Cottage Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the BMW driver was uninjured. He remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
