[12-16-2021] Sacramento County, CA – One person Injured After a Traffic Crash Involving an Amazon Truck on Interstate 5

One unidentified person was injured following a traffic crash involving an Amazon truck near Cosumnes River Boulevard on Thursday morning, December 16. 2021.

The accident occurred on Interstate 5 near Cosumnes River Boulevard at approximately 3:00 a.m.

An Amazon big rig and a Kia Soul were involved in the collision. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.

The Kia driver was rushed to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. Meanwhile, the Amazon truck driver was uninjured by the mishap.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
