An unidentified 26-year-old man was killed following a deadly collision involving a box truck near Avenue 164 on early Thursday morning, December 16, 2021.
The fatal two-vehicle accident transpired at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Road 112 near Avenue 164.
A Toyota sedan traveling at high speeds rear-ended a box truck. One person was seriously injured in the crash and was immediately taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center.
Unfortunately, the injured man later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital and was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the box truck driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Additional information on the accident is unavailable at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the accident.
