[12-16-2022] 62-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck on Highway 101A 62-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Paso Robles on Friday night, December 16, 2022.

According to reports, the crash transpired around 8:15 p.m. on Highway 101, north of the State Route 46 off-ramp.

Authorities state that the victim crossed the southbound lanes and was hit by a Hyundai Elantra driver, a Jeep Cherokee, then hit the vehicle.

The 62-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Meanwhile, the two drivers involved in the collision were not hurt.

Authorities have not published the victim’s name while attempting to contact his family.

Both drivers were not impaired by alcohol, and distracted driving was not a concern.
