[12-17-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly Semi-Truck Crash in Cerritos

A 33-year-old man identified as John Ople was killed after a fatal traffic collision involving a semi-truck in Cerritos on Friday morning, December 17, 2021.

The fatal collision happened on 91 Freeway at Shoemaker Boulevard in Cerritos at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Multiple vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

One person sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people were injured following the accident.
