One person was killed while another was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Hollister on Friday night, December 17, 2021.
The fatal collision occurred on State Route 156 east of San Felipe Road in Hollister at approximately 6:55 p.m.
A westbound vehicle drifted across the double yellow lines and crashed into an oncoming car. It’s unclear why the westbound vehicle veered off its lane.
The second driver was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, one person sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
