A 28-year-old man identified as Mitchell M. was killed after a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle in San Jose on Friday evening, December 17, 2021.

[12-17-2021] Santa Clara County, CA - One Person Killed After a Deadly Motorcycle Crash in San JoseThe deadly accident took place in the area of Capitol Expressway near Highway 87 in San Jose at approximately 6:16 p.m.

An eastbound motorcycle was traveling at high speeds on Capitol Expressway when it collided with a 2007 Chevrolet pick-up truck driving in the first lane.

Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle and landed in the second lane, where a 2020 Tesla Model Y struck him.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The two drivers remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.
