[12-18-2022] One Killed, Two Injured After Suspected DUI Crash in VallejoA 44-year-old man died, and two others were injured after a suspected DUI crash in Vallejo on Sunday night, December 18, 2022.

Reports confirmed that the fatal collision transpired around 8:00 p.m. in the 4200 block of Sonoma Boulevard.

According to police, a 2013 BMW SUV collided with the rear of a disabled 1965 Chevrolet sedan on the road.

A third vehicle, a 1999 Honda, was also hit while assisting the individuals inside the Chevrolet.

The 44-year-old man outside the Chevrolet succumbed to his injuries. Two more people were injured in the accident.

After showing signs of intoxication, the 30-year-old BMW driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter. He was arrested and placed in the county jail.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
