[12-18-2022] Solano County, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision in Fairfield Kills One and Injures Several

One person was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Fairfield on Sunday night, December 18, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash involving three vehicles occurred around 5:40 p.m. along eastbound Interstate 80, east of Pittman Road.

A Tesla sedan was going at high speed when it collided with two other cars and repeatedly overturned on the road. There were no descriptions of the other cars involved.

Three individuals were reportedly transported to the hospital. The Tesla driver sustained major injuries, while its male passenger was killed. Two occupants of the other vehicles suffered minor wounds, but their current condition remains unclear.

The investigation by the authorities into the cause of the collision continues.
