[12-19-2021] Santa Clara County, CA - One Person Killed After a Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in San JoseOne person was killed because of a deadly hit-and-run crash in San Jose on early Sunday morning, December 19, 2021.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on Highway 101 near Trimble Road in San Jose.

The victim exited his Honda and was standing close to his vehicle when he was suddenly struck by a passing car.

The driver that struck the man did not stop to help the victim and drove away from the scene. Information about the suspect’s identity and the vehicle is unavailable at the moment.

Unfortunately, the victim could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed.

Local authorities are actively pursuing the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver. An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
