[12-19-2021] Santa Clara County, CA – One Person Killed Following a Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash in Milpitas

One unidentified person was killed after a fatal traffic crash in Milpitas on Sunday morning, December 19, 2021.

The fatal accident transpired at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Route 87 in Milpitas.

An unidentified person reportedly jumped in front of a tractor-trailer by the off-ramp of Great Mall Parkway for unclear reasons.

The unidentified person was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. No other injuries were reported.
