The most dangerous road accidents are when people are hit by cars. This is because pedestrians are very vulnerable to fatal injuries most of the time. There is no way to protect them from an accident, so that’s why they don’t.

There were more pedestrian deaths in the United States between 2007 and 2016, but fewer other traffic-related deaths were. The Governors Highway Safety Association said this.

At least one person dies every 88 minutes because they are hit by a car while walking along the street.

There were about 7,500 pedestrians killed in California from 2009 to 2018, but not all of them. California has the highest number of pedestrian deaths on its roads, which is why it is so dangerous for people to walk. Some common causes of pedestrian accidents are reckless driving, speeding, and drivers who don’t give pedestrians the right of way.
