Two unidentified people were hurt after a fiery traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Whittier on Monday morning, December 20, 2021.

For unclear reasons, a southbound vehicle crossed over the center median and entered the northbound lanes. It then struck several cars in the northbound lanes, including a motorcycle and three other cars.

Two people were injured following the mishap. The two injured parties were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
