Two people were hurt after a pedestrian crash in Cortez Hill on Saturday afternoon, December 18, 2021.

A southbound grey Toyota Camry was traveling on Sixth Avenue when, for unclear reasons, the vehicle drifted to the left and drove onto the east sidewalk on 6th Avenue.

The grey Toyota Camry then struck two pedestrians before crashing into a light post, parking meter, tree, and barbershop.

The two pedestrians were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. One sustained life-threatening internal injuries, while the other sustained minor injuries. The two pedestrians were around 65-75 years old. Their identities have not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, the driver also sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was also hospitalized for treatment.
