[12-20-2022] 42-Year-Old Woman Killed After Alleged DUI Collision in OaklandA 42-year-old Antioch woman died following an alleged DUI collision in Oakland hills early Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022.

The deadly crash reportedly transpired around 12:44 a.m. on Grizzly Peak Boulevard.

According to authorities, a vehicle was traveling east when it left the tarmac and fell down an embankment.

Officers found the vehicle with the 48-year-old driver and the 42-year-old woman.

Authorities reported that the woman was unresponsive.

Paramedics brought the male driver to Highland Hospital in stable condition, while the woman was confirmed deceased.

The woman’s name had not yet been released.

Meanwhile, the driver was detained on charges of vehicular manslaughter.

The crash is believed to have been caused by alcohol.
