[12-21-2021] Fresno County, CA – Officer Injured After a Motorcycle Crash on Christmas Tree Lane

A CHP officer was hurt after a motorcycle crash on Christmas Tree Lane on Tuesday night, December 21, 2021.

[12-21-2021] Fresno County, CA - Officer Injured After a Motorcycle Crash on Christmas Tree LaneThe accident happened at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Christmas Tree Lane near Van ness Boulevard and Lansing Lane.

The officer reportedly entered the intersection with his emergency lights and siren on when he was suddenly struck by a Ford truck.

The Ford driver was reportedly traveling westbound and drove through the intersection before crashing into the officer. Due to the severity of the impact, the officer was ejected from his motorcycle.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, the second driver was uninjured and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.

An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
