[12-22-2022] Fresno County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in East Central Fresno Injures One Officer

One police officer was injured following a two-vehicle collision in Fresno on Thursday morning, December 22, 2022.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. near Highway 168 in east-central Fresno.

Before the crash, the officers were following a suspicious white car westbound on McKinley Avenue near Chestnut.

They pursued the vehicle. However, one got involved in the reported car crash on Highway 168, causing the officer to be taken to the hospital. The other officer was unharmed.

The car driver that collided with the officer was reportedly okay and assisted with the investigation. The white car, meanwhile, is still at large.

Calling Fresno police is requested if you have any information as their investigation continues.
