A 56-year-old woman identified as Daneen A. was killed after a deadly traffic crash in Lafayette on Friday morning, December 24, 2021.

The 56-year-old woman was driving along the road when she suddenly collided with another vehicle for unclear reasons.

The 56-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries two days later and was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the second driver and its passenger sustained minor injuries in the crash and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
