[12-24-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision in Calistoga Left Three People Severely InjuredThree individuals were injured following a two-vehicle collision in north Calistoga on Saturday afternoon, December 24, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:45 p.m. near Mount St. Helena on Highway 29.

Reports state that a southbound 2016 Hyundai Accent and a northbound 2019 Nissan Leaf hatchback were involved.

Investigations reveal that a head-on collision resulted when one vehicle crossed the double yellow line directly in front of the second vehicle.

Paramedics extricated three individuals from the wreckage and airlifted the victims to trauma clinics.

35-year-old, David was flown by helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for severe injuries.

Though it is unknown who was driving the vehicle, the driver and passenger, a 19-year-old female and an 18-year-old male who has yet to be identified were flown to Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville with serious injuries.

The cause of the collision and the identities of those involved were still being investigated.
