[12-24-2022] Solano County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in Fairfield Killed One and Hospitalized Three Others

One individual was killed and three others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Fairfield on Saturday evening, December 24, 2022.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, the fatal crash occurred in the area of East Tabor and Railroad Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the scene and found two cars were involved. It remains unclear what caused the collision as the investigation continues.

One person needed to be extricated from one of the vehicles. Three more people were transported to a hospital after sustaining serious injuries. Their current state remains unknown.

Both east and westbound lanes of East Tabor between Olive Avenue and Claybank Road were shut down until morning as the authorities investigated.

At this time, no additional information is available, including whether alcohol or drug played a role in the collision.
