[12-26-2021] San Diego County, CA – One Person Hurt Following a Car Accident on Estrella Avenue

An unidentified 46-year-old man was hurt after a two-vehicle crash on Estella Avenue on Sunday afternoon, December 26, 2021.

The accident transpired at approximately 12:29 p.m. in Kensington, on 4200 block of Estrella Avenue.

A black Toyota Prius was traveling southbound and stopped at a posted stop sign in an intersection on Orange Avenue. Meanwhile, a westbound black Toyota Highlander was driving on Orange avenue when the Prius suddenly struck it at the intersection.

One man sustained a fractured right femur in the crash. On the other hand, the female Toyota Highlander driver was uninjured in the impact.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. An active investigation of the accident is currently underway.
