One unidentified person was hurt after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Poway on Monday afternoon, December 27, 2021.
The collision happened at the intersection of Poway Road and Creekwview Drive at approximately 1:20 p.m.
A sedan and a truck collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by emergency personnel. The extricated party sustained unspecified injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, another person sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the mishap. Their identities have not been disclosed.
Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
