One unidentified person was killed after a deadly car crash in San Luisito Creek Road on Friday night, December 31st, 2021.

[12-31-2021] San Luis Obispo County, CA - Fatal Car Crash at San Luisito Creek Road Results in One DeathAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 7:22 p.m. on Highway 1, at San Luisito Creek Road.

A Chevrolet pickup turned left directly in front of a northbound Hyundai Sonata on Highway 1. Unfortunately, the Hyundai driver could not avoid the collision despite applying his breaks.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Chevrolet pickup truck caught fire following the crash. The Chevrolet pickup truck driver was killed in the accident.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal crash. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
