Car Crash in Rialto Causes Multiple Deaths and Injuries

RIALTO, Cal., July 8, 2019 – A traffic collision in Rialto left three people with serious injuries and two women dead on July 7, 2019, at about 9:30 p.m. Reports indicate that a 40-year-old was driving a Lexus with three passengers was speeding and failed to slow down before crashing into the back of a Hyundai stopped at a red traffic light. 

Three people in the Lexus were all transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Medical personnel pronounced the two women in the Hyundai dead shortly after the crash. Police officers stated that they planned to arrest the 40-year-old driver after being discharged from the hospital on suspicion of two counts of homicide. In addition to the criminal charges against the dangerous driver, the families of the two deceased women will likely have the right to bring wrongful death lawsuits against the driver to recover damages for their tragic losses.
