[09-21-2020] Alameda County, CA – One Child Died After a Fatal Big Rig Collision in Livermore

A 12-year-old boy identified as Carlos Alberto Garcia was killed due to a fatal big rig collision in Livermore on Monday, September 21. The crash transpired at around 1:20 p.m. on Interstate 580 near Airway Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol reports, a Chevrolet Tahoe was on the westbound lanes of Interstate 580 Freeway when it suddenly collided head-on with a big rig. The circumstances that led to the fatal collision have not been established.
