[09-15-2020] Alameda County, CA – One Person Dead After a Fatal Bicycle Accident in Oakland

An unidentified 67-year-old woman was killed after a fatal bicycle collision at an intersection in Oakland on Tuesday afternoon, September 15.

The collision took place on Second Avenue and East 12th Street at approximately 12:12 p.m. A woman riding a bicycle southbound on Second Avenue was suddenly struck by an oncoming van making a left-hand turn onto East 12th from Second.
