[09-14-2020] Alameda County, CA – Pedestrian Accident in Oakland Kills One Man

31-year-old Berkley resident, Isaac Orton was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Oakland on Monday evening, September 14.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the fatal crash transpired just before 7:36 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 880, just south of Interstate 80. The victim was trying to run across all lanes of the freeway from the center divider when a Toyota Prius hit him. The Prius driver remained at the scene and called the emergency hotline.
