[11-12-2020] Alameda County, CA – Two people Injured After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Fremont

Two unidentified people were injured due to a multi-vehicle traffic collision involving a big rig in Fremont on Thursday morning, November 12.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the accident occurred at approximately 7:38 a.m. on Interstate Highway 680 in Fremont.

A pickup truck made an unsafe lane change, which caused a chain-reaction. At least four vehicles, including a big rig and a dump truck, were involved in the accident.

Due to the severity of the impact, the dump truck spilled sand onto the freeway’s southbound lanes.

At least two people were hurt in the accident. They were taken to an area hospital to receive treatment for their minor injuries.
