Two people were hurt after a stolen RV crashed into another vehicle in San Ramon on Wednesday evening, October 27.

[10-27-2021] Contra Costa County, CA - Two people Injured After a Stolen RV Crashes into a Car in San RamonThe crash took place at the intersection of Bollinger Canyon Road and Alcosta Boulevard at approximately 7:47 p.m. The San Ramon police attempted to pull over a 2013 Fleetwood Motorhome near Massia Way and North Wedgewood Road.

They suspect that the driver has stolen the vehicle, but the suspect sped off, which led to a police chase. The suspect then continued the driver for about two miles before running a red light at Bollinger Canyon and Alcosta and crashing into a Prius trying to turn left from southbound Alcosta.

Due to the severity of the impact, the RV overturned. The RV driver was extricated from the wreckage and rushed to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment.

He was identified as 42-year-old Eric G. from San Francisco. Meanwhile, the other driver sustained minor injuries in the mishap and was also taken to an area hospital to receive treatment.

According to investigators, once the suspect is released from the hospital, he will be charged with various offenses, including vehicle theft and attempting to elude police. In San Francisco, Games was already facing two previous charges.
