[11-16-2020] Contra Costa County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Walnut Creek

A 42-year-old woman identified as Rebecca Pulling was killed after a deadly pedestrian accident in a construction zone in Walnut Creek on Monday evening, November 16.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident occurred at around 10:46 p.m. on Highway 680 near North Main Street.

The pedestrian was walking on the highway when a passing Chrysler Sebring suddenly hit her in the No. 4 southbound lanes.

It was unclear why Pulling was walking on the highway at the time of the accident. The driver of the Chrysler remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and later declared the pedestrian dead.
