[04-06-2020] East Los Angeles, CA – Bicyclist Seriously Injured After a DUI Crash at N Eastman Avenue

A 21-year-old unidentified bicyclist sustained significant injuries after a DUI crash at an intersection in East Los Angeles last Monday night, April 6th. 

According to the initial reports from the local authorities, the accident occurred at around 7:45 p.m. between the intersection of N Eastman Avenue and E 1st Street.

A black Honda Accord was suspected to be involved in the crash. 

The local authorities are convinced that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash but gave limited details. In the meantime, the cyclist was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. 

Authorities are currently attempting to determine the cause of the crash through the official investigation.
