[07-14-2020] Fresno, CA – Motorcyclist Dead After a Fatal Traffic Collision on Herndon Avenue

A 74-year-old man identified as Chris Green was killed after a fatal motorcycle crash in Fresno on Monday evening, July 14.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the fatal collision occurred at around 6:00 p.m. The victim was riding a 2011 Kawasaki Z1000 motorcycle when he collided head-on with a 2015 Toyota Sienna on Herndon Avenue near Thompson Avenue.

The victim was following the Toyota eastbound on Herndon Avenue, and both vehicles entered the westbound lane on Thompson at the same time. Due to the severity of the impact, the victim was ejected from his motorcycle. The motorcyclist was later pronounced dead at the scene.
