[10-28-2021] Fresno County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured After a Deadly Head-On Crash in Firebaugh

One person was killed while another person was seriously injured after a significant head-on collision near Firebaugh on Thursday night, October 28.

[10-28-2021] Fresno County, CA - One Person Killed, Another Injured After a Deadly Head-On Crash in FirebaughThe accident happened on Avenue 7 1/2, just west of Firebaugh Boulevard, at approximately 7:00 p.m.

A westbound Mazda was traveling on Avenue 7 ½ when, for unclear reasons, it veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Ford.

The Mazda driver was fatally injured in the crash. He was, unfortunately, pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Ford driver was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with a fractured leg. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash.
