An 18-year-old man identified as Andres Ramirez O. was killed after an auto collision in Clovis on early Monday morning, November 8, 2021.

[11-08-2021] Fresno County, CA - One Person Killed After a High-Speed Crash in ClovisAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Shaw Avenue near 6th Street in Clovis.

A VW Jetta and a Toyota Camry were traveling at high speeds on Shaw, approaching Milbrook, when an early 2000s white Malibu suddenly pulled put in front of them.

The VW Jetta and Toyota Camry then swerved to avoid the collision but ultimately crashed into each other. Both vehicles began to spin out of control, and the VW Jetta crashed into a tree.

The Jetta driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Camry driver was uninjured in the mishap. He remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.

Speed is suspected to be a factor in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
