At least one person was hurt after a fiery traffic collision at Peach Avenue after midnight, July 6.

[07-06-2021] Fresno County, CA - Injuries Reported After a Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash at Peach AvenueAccording to the initial reports from authorities, the major collision took place on Highway 180 onramp at Peach Avenue. A vehicle reportedly attempted to go into the roadway when it crashed into a southbound Chevy Tahoe on Peach Avenue.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Chevy caught fire. The Fresno’s Bomb Disposal Unit was dispatched to the area. An off-duty officer claimed that he saw the Tahoe driver toss fireworks and a pipe bomb out of the vehicle.

One person sustained unspecified injuries from the mishap. They were rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. No arrests have been made at the moment. The accident is currently under investigation.
