[03-22-2021] Fresno County, CA – Three People Injured, Including a Pedestrian After a Major Traffic Crash on Highway 41

Three people, including a pedestrian, were hospitalized after a major traffic accident on Highway 41 on Monday morning, March 22, 2021.

The accident transpired at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Highway 41 near Tulare Street in Fresno County.

A man in his 40’s was walking in the northbound lanes when a passing Toyota pickup suddenly struck him.

The Toyota pickup was later rear-ended by an oncoming Nissan pickup truck.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, and he’s currently in critical condition. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The two involved drivers sustained minor injuries to moderate injuries as a result of the crash.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the factors that may have caused the accident to occur.
