Four people sustained varying degrees of injuries after a head-on collision in Eureka on Monday afternoon, October 19.

The accident occurred on State Route 255 between the Samoa bridges at approximately 4:09 p.m.

A black pickup truck and a silver SUV were involved in the collision. The two vehicles collided head-on on the roadway for unclear reasons.

Authorities arrived at the scene and found the pickup truck blocking the traffic lanes while the SUV veered off the roadway.

Four people sustained varying degrees of injuries from the accident. All of them were transported to an area hospital to receive treatment.
