One unidentified person was killed after a deadly motorcycle crash in El Centro on Saturday afternoon, May 28.
The fatal crash occurred on Interstate 8, west of Mountain Springs Road in El Centro, at approximately 2:30 p.m.
A motorcycle collided with an unspecified vehicle in the eastbound lanes for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.
Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist unconscious on the right side of the road.
Unfortunately, despite the life-saving measure performed by paramedics, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
