[10-12-2020] Kern County, CA – Bakersfield Fatal Pedestrian Accident Kills One

A 23-year-old woman identified as Layloni Ariel Ashley Rue was killed after being struck by a semi-truck in Bakersfield on Monday night, October 12.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the fatal accident transpired at around 8:00 pm. on eastbound Highway 85 near Mount Vernon Avenue. A semi-truck suddenly hit the victim who was crossing the traffic lanes on Highway 58 for unknown reasons.
