[02-11-2021] Kern County, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Bakersfield Results in One Death

A 59-year-old man identified as Ricky Allen P. was killed after a deadly pedestrian accident in Bakersfield on Thursday night, February 11.

The accident took place on Edison Highway at the Mount Vernon Avenue overpass in Bakersfield at approximately 8:45 p.m.

The victim was struck by an unspecified vehicle in unclear circumstances. Information about the driver that struck the victim has not been disclosed.

The victim sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The factors that caused the collision have not been established.

Local authorities are currently investigating the case. No arrests have been made at the moment.
