A fatal head-on traffic collision in Shafter resulted in one person’s death on Monday morning, September 21.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the fatal collision occurred at around 7:00 a.m. at Burbank Street and Scaroni Avenue in Shafter.
