[11-04-20] Kern County, CA – Two People Injured After a Two-Vehicle Collision in Bakersfield

Two unidentified people were hurt after a two-vehicle traffic collision in Bakersfield on Wednesday night, November 4.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the collision occurred at around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of Hosking Avenue and Hughes Lane.

An unspecified vehicle turned in front of the victim’s car at the intersection, causing the collision. The driver that caused the accident was identified as 72-year-old Elias Samarripas.

Two people were hospitalized as a result of the crash. They are undergoing treatment for their injuries in an area hospital. The driver that caused the collision was killed in the crash.
