A motor officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division has already been taken into a hospital after a motorcycle accident Friday morning in Van Nuys, officials said.
Air footage via an ABC7 helicopter revealed a black motorcycle with a crushed front-end and an SUV surrounded with debris and shattered glass.

An official with the LAPD’s Van Nuys station said the police officer was transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical heart and that their condition was unavailable. Details of the incident and whether others have been injured had been also not known.
The crash happened in the 6900 block of Van Nuys Blvd. after 10:20 a.m. authorities said the stretch of road involving Vanowen Street and Sherman Way was anticipated to near while officers are on scene.
The cause of the motorcycle accident has not yet been determined.
