[11-23-2020] Los Angeles, CA – CHP Officer Injured After a Motorcycle Crash in Palmdale

A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was seriously hurt after a major traffic collision at an intersection in Palmdale on Monday night, November 23.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred near the intersection of 32nd Street West and West Avenue N 3 at around 7:15 p.m.

The officer was riding his motorcycle behind a pickup truck when the truck could not turn into a driveway. The truck driver was reportedly attempting to make a U-turn at the time of the accident.

The CHP officer sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.

Motorcycle Accident Investigation is Underway

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
