[11-18-2020] Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Bicycle Accident on Main Street Kills One

An unidentified male bicyclist was killed due to a fatal hit-and-run accident in South Los Angeles on Wednesday night, November 18. 

The accident took place on Main Street, just north of 120th Street in South Los Angeles, at approximately 9:15 p.m. A dark-colored sedan was north on Main when it suddenly crashed into the victim’s bicycle. How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established.

The driver of the sedan did not stop to help the victim and fled the scene. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

A reward amounting up to $25,000 awaits the witness to provide information about the accident that will lead to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and conviction. They may call Detective Flannery or Officer Mitchell at 323-421-2500.
